Sample Schedule
  • Day 1: Sculpting with Alternative Materials
    Why be limited to clay or plaster? We’ll use materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill to make a personal statement with art that helps heal the planet.
  • Day 2: Contemporary Painting
    No, we’re not going to paint bowls of fruit. Rather, emphasis in this class will be to experiment with materials, techniques and color. .
  • Day 3: Monotype Printmaking
    Working from your own personal inspiration, realistic or imaginary, we’ll work on plates that will be run through a press to create one-of-a-kind prints.
  • Day 4: Drawing the Abstract
    Expand the way you think about drawing. The subject of our work will be mark making and materials rather than the literal world.
  • Day 5: Curating the Show
    Studio instructors will review the week’s work, considering the unique points-of-view expressed. This will result in a group show, open to parents and guests when camp ends.
