Printmaking

Taught in a workshop atmosphere, classes are structured to help printmaking students develop personal visions and instill the self-confidence necessary to allow ongoing creative growth.

  • Monotype
    This class emphasizes the monoprint printmaking process—a direct and immediate form of printmaking that allows for spontaneity and experimentation. Direct drawing and transfer processes as well as other additive and reductive monoprint methods such as painting with printmaking inks, stenciling, chine colle and embossing are all explored in this experimental class. Learn how to make one-of-a-kind prints without using solvents or chemicals—safe and fun for all ages!
