Sculpture Garden

Experimenting with a variety of materials from clay to plaster to recycled objects, we will work individually and collectively to create a themed sculptural art installation that opens day 5!

$325 includes all instruction, materials and snack

Sample Schedule
  • Day 1: Evolve a New Species
Using painted paper and collage materials, we’ll let our imagination make an artistic commentary on Darwinism.
  • Day 2: Recycled Materials
What can you make using only packaging materials? What does this say about consumerism and it’s use (and misuse) of materials? And most importantly, how much fun will it be to make egg carton butterflies?
  • Day 3: Mars Needs Sculptures
How far can you take cardboard tubes and tape? Unleash your creative spirit, and the sky’s the limit.
  • Day 4: Sculptural Self-Portrait
Utilizing everything you’ve discovered about materials and process over the past week, create an abstract representation of your inner being.
  • Day 5: Sculptural Installation
We’ll put the finishing touches on our individual pieces and then arrange them as a sculptural installation. The show is open to parents and guests an hour before camp ends.
